When I was a child, I wanted to be an artist. I remember a homework assignment in first grade to draw our future selves. So my clumsy hands drew me as an artist in Paris, complete with easel and beret, focusing in on the Eiffel Tower, using my thumb for scale with paintbrush in hand. I also love the logic of technology, so I spent many years working in computer science (even got my master's there), but I've always needed an outlet for my artistic side. Color and nature have always ruled my spirit, and they compel me to create whether it's designing a mood board, painting a landscape, or pouring a candle.
